لما تشوف كل الناس حواليك متوترة ومزعوجة طول الوقت
When you hear people talking about the economical state and how broke they are, yet still drive their brand new Mercedes for a night out at downtownلما تسمع الناس عم تحكي عن حالتها الاقتصادية وقديش هني مفلسين ومع هيك بتلاقيهم سايقين سيارتهم الجديدة ليقضو سهرتهم برة بالداون تاون
When you can’t find a parking spot, or a seat in a restaurant
لما ما تلاقي محل تصطف سيارتك او كرسي بشي مطعم
When you wait for long time in line and you see people being called by name from behind you, and they finish before you
لما تنطر وقت طويل بالصف وتشوق ناس عم يتنادالن بالاسم من وراك وبيخلصوا قبلك
When you think you need “wasta” to do anything

When you feel everyone around you think they are superior to all others
لما تحس الكل حواليك بيعتقدوا انهم احسن من الكل
When you hear about public money wasted and all politicians talking about stopping bribery, yet nothing happens
لما تسمع عن اهدار المال العام وكل السياسية بيحكوا عن وقف الرشوة ومع هيك ولا شي بيتغير
When you go for a car ride, and end up having several fights
لما تروح تكزدر بالسيارة وبترجع انت وعامل اكتر من مشكل
When you hear that all girls have made plastic surgery, because looks are what matters

When you see every country’s flag during the world cup, except that of Lebanon
لما تشوف اعلام كل الدول خلال كأس العالم الا علم لبنان
When every young person wants to leave the country after graduating to escape the military service
لما كل الشباب بدن يتركوا البلد بعد التخرج مشان يهربوا من الخدمة العسكرية

When you hear about hospitals refusing critically sick people because they don’t have money
لما تسمع عن المستشفيات عم ترفض تستقبل ناس مرضى بشكل حرج لانه ما معهم مصاري
When you hear that every guy around you has three girlfriends, one of which is married
لما تسمع انه كل شب حواليك مصاحب تلاتة وواحده منن متزوجه
When you hear from every girl you date that you are the “second” person she falls in love with (not the first, nor the third,… the second)
لما تسمع من كل بنت بتواعدا انك تاني شب بتحبه مش الاول ولا التالت لأ التاني
When you hear from everyone around you about plans to vacation in Paris, Rome and London
لما تسمع من الكل حواليك عن خطنن انه يقضوا العطلة بباريس,روما و لندن
When you see 2000 applications for every job posted
لما تشوف 2000 طلب لكل وظيفة
When you feel you can write an article about criticizing the Lebanese people, even though you do everything you criticize
